Great News…

Holiday Gift Market is expanding in square footage and number of merchants. They are adding the Entertainment Hall to the Expo Hall to make room for 180+ merchants. 80 of this year’s merchants are brand spanking new to Holiday Gift Market. This is a great way to discover local boutiques and shops from across the country.

Support small businesses, yo!

This Year’s Junior League of Tampa Young Entrepreneur Winner is Lisbeth Pacheco of Ethos Coffee. She will receive a free booth at the Holiday Gift Market and a check from Working Women of Tampa Bay to help her set up the booth. Her Lakeland-based craft coffee roastery will be selling the world’s top ethically sourced coffee beans, including beans from a woman-owned Peruvian coffee farm which are currently being harvested just for Holiday Gift Market.

There are some really amazing kid-friendly special events like Santa Snaps ($15 for a professional photo of Santa- less expensive than waiting in line at the mall), Santa’s Workshop (for $20, your child can create a craft with Bricks 4 Kids/ Kraftologee), Cookies with the Clauses (decorate a cookie and mingle with Santa for $10.) (This event does not include a professional photo, so bring your own camera), and Breakfast with the Princesses, which sold out within 24 hours.

      OMG! These photos are hilarious!
I love taking the children to see Father Christmas but getting all 3 to look at the camera can be a challenge.

I’m not sure I’m quite ready for Christmas (and yet I’ve started writing about it too), but this does look the perfect way to gear up to it.
